- Savannah - Butch Thomas, 62, passed away February 16, 2010 at home. He was a native of Savannah, a graduate of Savannah High School and was of the Baptist faith. Butch owned and operated Butch Thomas Plumbing Company for many years until sickness caused him to retire in 2006. He was well known in the plumbing industry as a perfectionist and one of best and most respected in Savannah.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of 38 ½ years, Judy Thomas; two daughters, Julie and Jodie Thomas all of Savannah; two brothers, William N. Thomas of Savannah; David Thomas of Lumber City, GA; and two nephews, Troy Thomas of Savannah and Spencer Thomas of Bloomingdale.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2010 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors.
